I began to make photographs of wildflowers the summer after my Father's death and after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita ravaged Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida and Alabama. The flowered fields pulled me in and under the towering, buzzing Queen Anne's Lace and cone flowers. After printing one large for my sister, I realized how beautiful they are. I printed one for myself and it hangs in my dining room. I will use the print sales from these flowers to help save for my wildflower teenager's college fund. I also have a few beautiful wood frames in my stock if you'd like to order a large framed print.
